IOT, Are we safe?
When it comes to cooking, cleaning our home, working, walking or just watching TV. Have you noticed that the technology is present in every step we take? Technology has come to stay and you'll wonder what the future holds for us? The Internet of Things or Iot
There will come a time when everything we touch is connected to the network. But are we prepared for it? There is one issue that we cannot ignore and which concerns us all and is the security of our data and privacy.
What will you do with our data? what data will they have? Who's gonna handle them? Doubts that prevent not only citizens from enjoying all the benefits of technology and the IoTs, but also companies from continuing to develop devices that make our lives easier and better.
A barrier they are already trying to break with new regulations. In this way, on 25 May next year, the new data encryption regulation will enter into force, which companies will have to comply with if they do not want to pay the 20 million euro fine that this entails.
The future is connected to the Internet. The fridge, oven, car, shower, everything will be connected to the Internet. And the challenge is not to see it as a problem, but as an opportunity full of advantages.
And everything must be done progressively. In order to open up to new technologies, we must realise that our cities will also change. That our environment will become more sustainable, that renewable energies represent another major change towards the future. The cities will become Smart Cities.
More and more people are using IoT to make their lives easier. And more and more cities, aware of the benefits of new technologies, want to become Intelligent Cities. How are they doing it? Including renewable energies and, of course, the Internet of Things. An example of this are solar chargers for mobile phones / with integrated WiFi. Do you know which cities are already smart?
